I went to PC fair (@ PISA yesterday noon) and on my way back, I planned to stop by TESCO for groceries. On my way to TESCO (after the roundabout), something caught my attention... Hence I snapped a photo using my mobile phone N73 :)

"Black Shop"

The 黑店 or "Black Shop" in Kung Fu Martial Art Chinese Novels (武侠小说) are synonym with shop owners that cheat customer's $$$$ :D

And I came across this "黑店/Black Shop" some time ago. What a name! This photo was sometime back, in December 2006. Somewhere in Georgetown, Penang on Sunday morning (hence the shop was closed). Now I cannot remember the exact location of the shop liao... I wonder what the shop sells... :P

Parking Lot No

Normally how u guys remember where u park your car? Especially in a huge multi storey carpark.

My method is very simple. I will take a snap of the parking lot no with my handphone.. It will safe the trouble trying to recall the exact location or searching for the car later on.

Few years back, before I own any cameraphone, I used to jot down the carpark lot no inside my PDA. If I didn't bring my PDA together with me, I will type the number and save it inside the SMS draft of my handphone.

On The Road...

One thing that I hate when driving on the road is driving behind the humongous bus or lorry.. Obstructing my view and I dunno what's going on in front... Moreover if driving on single lane and the gigantic vehicle is slow. *Geram*...

Cabbages and Condoms

Why Cabbages and Condoms ?? What has Cabbages to do with Condoms? The first time I came across the name was from Bibik Nyonya's post, featuring the Cabbages and Condoms Potato Chips. Many have been wondering how the name arise including yours truly.

A week or two ago, I found out there is a makan place with the name Cabbages and Condoms Restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand. What a name !! It is to raise funds for Thailand's Population and Community Development Association (PDA) and to promote birth control and family planning, to boost HIV/AIDS awareness and other health related issues. How the name Cabbages and Condoms come about? It is to promote condoms usage - to made it as common as and accepted just like cabbages, as cabbages are common food and staple diet in Northeast Thailand.

"Our food is guaranteed NOT to cause pregnancy." Hahaha.. What a unique and eye-catching slogan.

Haven't play with numbers for long time liao. The last time I played with numbers was during the 38,888th (in August 2006) and Sengkor was the proud winner. How time flies...

This & That...

Last Saturday afternoon, I came across laozhabor's blog. (For those who dun understand the hokkien, laozhabor = old woman). I'm truly impressed with her. Can I intro her as the latest coolest, hottest, popular Singapore female senior blogger? Very hip hop and young at heart. This granny can even raps. o.O

She very canggih wan, and she uses Apple MacBook Pro to blog (more canggih than me liao, cos I dun have one). She is also an actress, acting in Jack Neo's latest movie"Just Follow Law" and also few other movies (I Not Stupid Too etc). Laozhabor really rocks !! 姜是越老越辣 (Old ginger is more spicy). Do pay her a visit when you are free ;)

I did my visual DNA 2 weeks plus ago (cos itchy hands) but never posted it up. Since Butt "sincerely" requested me to post it up, so I will comply. Why she wanna see my result ah? cos she kaypoh mah, wanted to know whether I'm a home soul person (like her), or love bug (like JL), or part time lover (like kyh). (I quoted her words) LOL. I just realised a couple of minutes ago, 28818 visitors to my humble weblog so far. I'm thinking.. might be I should give a small gift to the 28,888th visitor of this humble weblog. Since 28,888 is a nice number which means easy to prosper in Cantonese (28888 = 易發發發發 = 容易發大财). What to give? I haven't make up my mind yet. Definitely not a free whole body check up :P

"Eye to Eye" Talk

Few nights ago, I have an "Eye to Eye Talk" (not the Heart to Heart Talk nor "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" thingy, ) with Ah Ben. What is this eye to eye talk? Well, I put my eye picture as the display picture in MSN/YM. When Ben siu saw the picture, his first response was "oh my gosh, scary momok eyes" Then he kaypoh & followed trend.. snapping a picture of his tired eye. His first response after seeing the picture he took himself pulak was "oh my gosh, so scary!"

He put the scary eye picture up replacing his earlier cute display picture .. My response after seeing his his sexy sleepy eye picture was... Guess what? "Faster remove that picture, hak sei ngor (I'm scared). Just like watching ghost movies !! " Hahhaha..

Astro Decoder as MyKad Reader

In collaboration with MSC and MSCTrustgate, MyKad holders can now read the details of their identification card/IC - MyKad on Channel 800, Astro by inserting their MyKad (chip facing downwards) into the second slot of the Astro Decoder and follow the on-screen instructions.

The Astro decoder will display the following information:
• Name • NRIC No. • Address • Postcode • City • State • Religion • Race

I check my religion on the astro decoder.. bravo.. it comes out correct - Christian (I know there are quite a number of people who gets their religion printed wrongly on their MyKad). Great, don't have to waste $$$ to buy the MyKad Reader :)

Not only we can check the information on our MyKad, we can check our credit cards information too on Astro Decoder.. Mmmm...But too bad I can't read the balance of the credit card, Hahaha...

Blog in Chinese Language

Robin asked me whether there is any website translating blog into Chinese language since his Malay Language is very private limited.. or the so called Sdn Bhd in Malay Language :P
