The reason given by Kenny are : He needs a doctor in case got illness or injury, so the best person I think is Chen. She can handle it very well. (ahem..) Without her we all also cannot survive. (ahem again...kembang kaw kaw liao.. Kkkkkk) She also very good in hunting nice food, so with her around we can get many nice foods too... :P (wah.. since when I become hunter ah? kkkkkkkk)

My friend has a peculiar habit when ordering food - no chillies & no sambal belachan whilst I'm on the contrary. I will tell them I want chillies & sambal belachan; the more spicy, the better !!
This is the amount of chillies that I can consume per day or per meal. I know this might be nothing to some... Or way too spicy for others? I love hot & spicy food. To me, Tarak pedas, tarak syiok & tarak sedap. How about you?
On the 7th Day of Chinese New Year, after playing with Pink Cotton's doggies, I went for dogs visitation together with Pink Cotton & aunty (Pink Cotton's beloved Mummy loh) . We went to few houses and finally... I get to visit the house with 9 doggies, The Furry House !!

Garfield is one of my favourite cartoon character during my school days. Garfield is like "a Human in Cat Suit". This fat cat has so many similarities with human. His thought resembles human's thinking. Not forgetting his selfish behaviour, his greediness etc etc.. Garfield says and does things that people would like to say and do. Fear Not. Psssss.. I too had one set of real human skeleton including the skull in the past.... which had accompanied me for the one whole academic year during my first year in uni ;)

I went to Bukit Tambun last Sunday (Chap Goh Mei). Bukit Tambun is well known for seafood but instead of seafood, I will post something else here. Remember the lenglui ostrich I saw in Taiping Zoo last year? I managed to meet up with the Taiping Zoo's lenglui ostrich's friend....

I have seen ostrich several times but I have never pay attention to their feet. Gosh, this was the first time I noticed ostrich only has two toes. The bigger toe summore has toe nail.
Now I shifted my attention to the lengchai peacock. Although I have seen peacocks several times liao, but this was the first time I saw the male peacock in "full glory".

One fine Wednesday late afternoon in Sarawak, I went jalan-jalan with my hubby to Damai & Santubong area and stopped by Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV) . Guess what we saw in the ground next to visitor parking lots?
I saw something with 8 legs (not spider nor octopus) including the pair of "claws" - None other than the toxic Scorpion. Imaging if someone step on it accidentally !!
Lesson learned : Always Watch Your Steps !! (Who knows, If u are lucky, u might see $$$$ on the floor? Hahahahaa) :P
This is my beloved vegetable... the yummy and delicious jungle fern aka bilin/bidin/milin/midin. So confusing huh? So many names, but all refering to the same thing. This is the culinary dish of Borneo Island/Sarawak.
Something not to be missed when I balik kampung. Die-die also must eat cos up to date I can't find it outside Sarawak. The Fiddle Heads fern in Canada/US looks similar, but taste wise, i dunno liao.
Most Sarawakians love this (except the weird Pink Cotton, who dislikes it), and I know Cocka loves this too. Cook with sambal belachan... Wah.. Heavenly !!!

Time really flies. Today is Chap Goh Mei (元宵节) or 15th day which marks the end of the Lunar New Year. It's also known as Chinese Valentine. In the past, eligible ladies will throw oranges on Chap Goh Mei into the river as a gesture of hope to get good husbands. IMHO, fruits are expensive nowadays. So don't waste the fruits by throwing them into the river. More practical to just consume them. Kkkkkkkkkkk. And not forgetting, Maymay in Sydney for 2 weeks liao.

Those who watched Amazing Race Asia will have seen this gigantic cat statue in Kuching (located next to the roundabout in Jalan Padungan). This gigantic cat will wear different costume for different festival. The thing that caught my attention this time was the presence of Maggi lanterns everywhere.
And further down the road, I saw more cats holding Maggi lanterns !!! Is this a Maggi CNY? LOL... I took these shots from the car. If I was walking on the street, I will take more snapshots from different angles.
