Satay/Sate/沙爹 (grilled meat on a stick or skewer) is one of the popular dish over here, and one of my favourites too. So far, the best satay I have tasted is the Hj Samuri Kajang Satay - juicy & tender meat with lotsa varieties : chicken, mutton, beef, fish, deer, rabbit, rabbit, ostrich, intestine, liver etc. :( I missed them.. One of the "must have" food (highly on the list) if I travel to Kuala Lumpur by car - The satays are available at Restoran Jejantas Sg Buloh.
Belows are satay I bought locally in Penang, from the pasar malam near my work place last Friday. Tasty as well but not as good as the Satay Kajang :)
I love Lok Lok (especially the cockles & kangkong/water spinach with cuttlefish) and Satay Celup too.. Any Satay lovers here?
