Dinner @ Ling Loong Seafood Restaurant

A friend of mine asking me wanted to see the cooked bilin picture. Well, so I will just share with some of the dishes I had while having dinner with my family members in one of the local restaurant (Ling Loong Seafood Restaurant in King Centre, Kuching). The special dishes here were the Bilin with sambal belachan and Ambal Curry (bamboo clam).

Bilin with Sambal Belachan(Shrimp paste) ~ one of my favourites. Bilin is something that most people likes :) And surely I won't miss this dish everytime I go back home. In fact, few bloggers like Sharl612, Fish Fish, Mercuri2000, kcyap commented in my previous bilin post that they likes this dish as well :) Like what Sharl612 mentioned, I do agree that this is a Must-Not-Miss dish when balik kampung.

Some might wonder what is this? This is Ambal Curry or Bamboo Clam Curry Ambal is the local Malay name for Bamboo Clam. This is another dish that I won't miss when I go back home (cos I hardly see it at other place. It might be available else where, but I don't know the location ..) The clams have reed-like shells, hence the name bamboo clams. This is another unique dish

A closer view on how the ambal or bamboo clams look like :). I have picture of uncooked/raw ambal as well (taken in the market) which I will post later on.

Mmmmm.... This is something that looked nice to me. I forget what is the name of this dish already. Since it looked so beautiful like flower, so I ordered the dish as well, cooked with oyster sauce. The taste.. nothing special, and, a bit tough.

Closer view on how the vege is cut ~ to the flower-like-appearance. Very creative indeed.

This one is the crispy fried chicken with lemon sauce. This is an ordinary dishes that is available everywhere :)

I just noticed today is Fish Fish's Birthday. Fish Fish, I specially dedicate another dish of bilin for u, the delicious and tasty crunchy Bilin fried with Garlic :)

Happy Birthday Fish Fish
