I noticed this interesting piece of information via
MMR websites.
Written there, Nerve Growth Factor or NGF triggers the powerful emotions seen in new lovers. This is according to a research done by Pavia University researchers. According to the research, those who have recently fallen madly in love have far higher levels of NGF compared to single people or those in long term relationships. However, after a year with the same lover, the quantity of the ‘love molecule’ in their blood had fallen to the same level as that of the other groups.
Written there as well, the researchers were not clear how falling in love triggers higher levels of NGF, but the NGF clearly has an important role in the "social chemistry" between couples at the start of a relationship.
Also written in MMR, regarding the
possibility of the
new blood test in the future, to check for serum NGF level to rate LOVE. :)
Serum NGF: how to tell if it is really true love? Now a simple blood test will cast out all doubt.
NGF level - Love rating
0-50 - and they they call it puppy love….
51-100 - teenage crush
101-150 - getting warm; could be serious
151-200 - red hot passion. it’s the real thing!
What do u think? So hilarious.

This one ah.. who knows, later on in the future; can be regarded as confirmatory test to the heart beat thingy ? :D
You think anyone dares to take it?
tibbar,
If the test is available in the future, I think those who wants to prove that his/her love to the other half is true love will volunteer to take it :D
