Pineapple

I saw this Pineapple Ong Lai joss stick or incense last weekend (on Chap Goh Mei/last day of CNY when I strolled along the Pitt Street (aka Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling). We are so used with the Gigantic Dragon joss stick but pineapple joss stick? Interesting... First time I came across such a scene. Hence I can't resist but to take one snapshot. :)

  1. That was unusual joss stick! I think people need more "Ong" now since the economy is sliding. What is their next creation?

  4. twilight zone,
The person who create the joss stick is creative. I wonder how much the joss stick costs. It's so unique :)

Wonder if there's any lokam joss stick or not? Since it's CNY. Oops, CNY over already. Hehehe...

    Oh ya, Sarikei & Pineapple.

I'm bad. It have slipped my mind the connection of pineapple with Sarikei. It's time for me to visit back my beloved hometown again.. I miss the sweet (but mouth cutting) Sarikei pineapple. :)
