I just discovered this place few months back - an excellent makan place at very affordable price. The Golden BBQ Steamboat Restorant (located in Jalan Nagore, Penang behind Penang Plaza). Hearty buffet style BBQ steamboat with sizzling hotplace barbeques with wide selection of fresh food - clam, fish, stingray, beef, chicken, pork, prawn, fresh vegetables etc etc etc.. and freeflow of drinks and ice cream.
High cholesterol food? Can still afford to eat some cos my cholesterol level is low :)
Some of my selection for the DIY hotplate BBQ yesterday night.
Normally I will concentrate more on the hotplate BBQ than the steamboat.
A small portion of the final product. Some of the prawns were a bit over-cooked.
Anyone interested to join me for the next trip ?

itu steamboat punya sup, adik boleh pilih sama ada nak tomyam atau sup biasa. Kalau nak dua-dua sekali pun boleh.
Semua ni, harganya cuma RM16++. Murah, kan? Cheap & good :D But I hardly eat the steamboat lah.. Too engross with the hotplate BBQ LOL

I see :) Steamboat is nice to eat, especially in cold weather. I took steamboat almost every evening/night during my stay in Cameron Highlands ;)

I know lah, now is bola season.. everybody gila bola except me & few others.. and fish ball is definitely one of the balls also :D
